The micro:bit compatiablehigh contrast of an OLED display are small, but very readable. The module resolution is 128x64 meaning it has 128x64 individual white OLED pixels that can be turned on or off by the micro:bit. The display makes its own light so no backlight is required reducing the power requirements for this module.
The OLED itself requires a 3.3V power supply and 3.3V logic levels for communication which is exactly the output of the micro:bit. It does include a 3.3V regulator and all pins are fully level shifted so you can use it with 5V devices!
