The micro:bit V2 plus a battery pack and USB cable of your choice. You can choose a USB-c or standard USB cable based on the connection to your computer.


Battery pack has on/off switch not usually featuered in micro:bit kits allowing you to turn the micro:bit off without disconnecting the JST connector.  In camps, we found many kids broke the wires when removing the connector.

Write your code in makecode a block based language, Python or Javascript using one of the micro:bit editors, free on the micro:bit website, connect your micro:bit to your computer and download your program to the micro:bit.
